Following an extensive brand audit and rebranding process, the Mount Albert TEO has emerged with crisp new branding, a new set of guiding values and is now known as Auckland Institute of Studies, or simply AIS.


Why study at AIS?


1.       Auckland Institute of Studies (AIS) offers a broad range of programmes from beginner’s English through to a Master’s degree qualification.

2.       AIS have a flexible three-semester system (January, May and September each year for diploma/degree/postgraduate qualifications) that allows students to fast-track their studies.

3.       AIS provide assistance to students on all employment issues. This includes conducting workshops on CV preparation and interview techniques, and finding appropriate employment/internship opportunities.

AIS TEP – Test of English Proficiency:


  • ·         AIS test of English Proficiency is now recognized by Immigration New Zealand as an alternative to IELTS as an English Language Entry Requirement.
  • ·         If the student do not wish to take the IELTS test, please contact us and we will arrange for AIS TEP to be sent to your offices, where you may invigilate the test.

NOTE* The final NZQA rule confirms that Auckland Institute of Studies (AIS) are able to give IELTS waiver where there is confirmation of five years secondary schooling in the English medium.
